Subject: ESPEC announces $9,100 environmental
test chamber giveaway to promote product introduction to pharmaceutical
industry
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hudsonville, Michigan – ESPEC North America Inc. announced
it will give away a $ 9,100 environmental test chamber as part
of a promotional contest to help familiarize the pharmaceutical
industry with the company’s environmental testing products.
The model LHU-113 chamber being given away is a versatile benchtop
model capable of a wide range of temperature and humidity tests.
Entries can be made at www.humiditychambers.com.
The promotional contest supports the introduction
of ESPEC’s
full-size ZoneOne humidity chamber. The ZoneOne is designed specifically
for long-term stability testing as required by ICH’s Q1A
standard for pharmaceutical products. It has a 28 cubic foot interior
and a programmable controller as standard equipment. The chamber
is distinctive because it has a full-view glass door that is heated
to keep it clear of condensation. Options include paperless data
logging equipment compliant with 21 CFR part 11.
According to Tom Patterson, National Sales
Manager for ESPEC North America, pharmaceuticals is one of several
industries in which
the company’s products have been meeting changing and growing
environmental testing needs. Says Patterson, “The contest
is an unusual step for us, but we’re very serious about expanding
our presence beyond our traditional markets such as electronics
and semiconductors where environmental testing requirements are
already extremely advanced. The pharmaceutical market has a growing
demand for shelf-life testing, and our new ZoneOne offers capabilities
that line right up with this emerging need.”
The model LHU-113 chamber featured in the promotional
giveaway is one of ESPEC’s 18 benchtop-sized test chambers,
suitable for similar stability applications like the ZoneOne.
The four cubic
foot chamber is capable of both temperature and humidity control
between -20 to 85°C (-4 to 185°F) and from 40 to 95% relative
humidity. The LHU-113 has a footprint of 65 x 80 cm (26 x 32 in)
W x D; runs
on 115 V power, and has a built-in water tank.
The contest is open to U.S. registered, licensed, incorporated,
or commercial businesses that may, under applicable law, purchase
from ESPEC North America, Inc. The contest opened on January 1,
2005 and will remain open until August 31, 2005. The prize will
be awarded by a random drawing on or about September 19, 2005.
